is there anyway to get discounted suns tickets?
I know in Cincinnati they have a million different ways to get Reds tickets discounted, but I haven't seen anything for Suns games down here. Two of JJ's former IU baseball players are playing each other next weekend (one pitches for the Suns, one is a catcher for the Birmingham team) and we want to go, but he doesn't know if they can get us tickets. We also are considering going tonight, but it's probably too late for that!

Tickets are so cheap anyway that I don't know how much they do discounted.
DP, yep, Thursdays are still dollar beer nights, but I think the tickets are the same price. They also do dollar hot dog and ice cream nights I think.
The tickets range in price from $19 - $7. What type of discount are you looking for?
Any kind, really. When I lived in Hickory our AA team had BOGO tickets on random nights, the Reds have 1/2 price tickets after the 1st inning at the box office, anything like that. Just didn't know if there were any promotions they ran.
I mean, though $20 doesn't seem bad, when you buy 2 tickets, pay to park, buy concessions, it starts to add up to a $50+ night and we're trying to keep our date nights cheap as we save for maternity leave.
So don't buy the $20 tickets....? Get the cheap ones!
I know for the game when his guys are pitching and catching he'll want to get the good ones, so that's the game I'm really more interested in any promos for.
Have you ever been to the suns games before? My hubby...father in law and bro in law all work up there for extra fun money so i get free tickets (woo-hoo) But i can tell you even if you get the "cheap" tickets they are all pretty good seats...just call before, or go to the box office and tell them you want as close to home plate as possible so you can check out the pitching...oh and they are not close to sold out tonight...it's about a crowd of 3k as of now.
i will be there tonight :-) it's pirates of the caribbean theme night :-)
