I missed you originally posting you've been doing this! Ben has been doing it for a few months (well he did it, took a break and is picking it up again) and always complains/comments how good of a workout it is.
If there a "female" version, or what are you using for reference?

lol....no female version. I just use much lighter weights. Like for the push-ups I only use 5 lbs.
Whats terrible is for the gauntlet squats and twist lunges, I *should* be using 20 lbs....but I keep it at 5 because I'm SO sore the next day it's hard to walk.
The only other thing I change up is I make it more cardio based. So everything is quick. Where Dave does the work-out much slower...with like 50-75lb weights. I have to admit he beefed up quick from doing it. Has it worked out well for Ben?
Ben loves it! And it's definitely made some nice changes for him.
From what he says, he seems to do it more cario-like as well. He goes straight from one exercise to the next without breaks and makes it a quicker workout than his "traditional" weight lifting.
He's been trying to tell me that I should do it, maybe I should try it! Start with 5lbs?

That's probably the best to get you started. Especially to get the movements down right. But since you're a runner, and probably in better shape than I am, you may be able to lift more for the leg work-outs.
Of course, go through it once and see how bad it hurts the next day haha. And then take it from there.
Of course the best part of the work-out is going on to the web-site to watch the video.....ya know...to make sure I'm properly doing the movements.....
Oh and to check out Andy Whitfields fine fine man body. That never hurts.

Haha here's the article from the mens health magazine, it's the first one I found.
It's pretty intense, and intimidating...but it'll whip you into shape pretty quick.
Ha, I never knew there was a video!! Ben just printed out the moves and looks at them.
I should probably ask him to walk me through them at home tonight so I don't like like an idiot at the gym! lol
How long have you been doing it? Besides soreness, have you noticed any changes?

I've only been doing it for a week. Of course it's mixed in with other work-outs at the gym and some cardio.
But I have to say I feel a lot better, and my arms are starting to get a little toned, and Dave says my thighs have thinned out a little bit, but I never notice my legs. So I'd like to keep it up and see if I can slim down some more.

F working out! Lets talk about Spartacus and in particular Andy Whitfield! mmmmmmmmmm.....man candy! He is my backround on my home comp. I am in love. If you girls haven't seen Spartacus, you should!
This workout looks awesome! I sent it to hubby and I am prinitng it out now. Can you imagine if they made an actual full lenght video? I am not sure I could make it throught the work out. I would probably end up on the couch with some pop corn
Haha yeah Me and Dave finally bought the 1st season. Seriously drool over him. I'm upset he got sick and wont be in the next season. Hopefully his replacement will be just as attractive.
*On a side note every time I watch it all I can this is "OMG its Xena Warrior princesses tits! WTF!!!" Because no matter what part she plays I'll always think of her as Xena.
