A Shower Cleaning Conundrum
Anyone know how to get rid of the film that is on fiberglass showers? I've googled and found things that don't work and was hoping maybe one of you have found a failproof method.

Re: A Shower Cleaning Conundrum
Yep we squeegie everytime we're finished showering, but the existing crud that was there before I came around and started doing that (back in the DH's bachelor days) still remains. I'll try an attempt at the vinegar - anyone know what parts of vinegar to what parts of water I need?

Note: I looked online and a bunch of ppl used it on shower glass and it worked great when nothing else did.
Also don't leave it on too long per the directions as it will mess up some sufaces.

Is that sold in most grocery stores? Also can you use that on your pots and pans (stainless)?
ditto!!!!
Thanks ladies! I'll definitely look into the bar keepers friend! It would be great to have a go-to cleaner around this place!

no no no... too expensive if ur cleaning the whole thing... trust me, i've gone into my mother's house where it's been really caked on (she's disabled and her shower won't be cleaned for months since I only go home like once a year i do it then)... here's my secret that i've discovered and now passed on to several cleaning ladies who use it....
Kaboom Tile and Shower (it's in the purple spray bottle)...
TRUST ME ON THIS ONE! spray it on. wait like 2 minutes (open the window though, it kinda stinks big time)... use the scrubby side of the sponge to easily buff it away ...i'm talking little to no elbow grease for hard water, calcium and everything else ... comes up like a charm. Rinse out then just use plain old window cleaner to get rid of the streaks. It's freaking amazing yet no one seems to have ever given it a shot.....
