J has bad taste in girl names!
He's like a few of the girl names ive suggested, but the two he's suggested are Kaylee (which makes me think of a school girl stripper) and Presley (do I need to defend?). Glad we seem to agree on boy names!
Anyone else have H suggest horrible names?
Re: J has bad taste in girl names!
H is the king of horrible baby names.
I jokingly (maybe not?) told him that his naming rights were revoked.
I can never tell when he's joking about a name. He almost always includes a football player or food in the you-neek names he comes up with.
Kirk likes the name Kate. Not K(C)atherine/ Kathleen/ whatever. Just Kate.
He also kind of likes Harper, which is super popular right now and also doesn't sound right with our last name.
Stand up for something you believe in.
One of my faves (this was before we got our dog) : Oscar Drew ... as in Drew Brees
After the Saints won the Super Bowl he liked Fujita *facepalm*
Sort of but not really. I think we probably will use family names.
Drew and could handle
Fujita just makes me think of fajitas. Then I get sort of hungry.

Not TTC yet, but we have talked about names. I think we agree on one girl name and no boy names. I like names that are different, but not "out there." I was the only Mallory until I hit HS. I loved it, even though I didn't have a personalized "license plate" for my bike.
Danny likes all of the common/classic names: Sarah, Elizabeth, Emily, Tiffany, Ashely. Those names are all fine and dandy and I have no hate for them, but they are too common for me. I need some spice.
Names I like for boys, but Danny absolutely hates: Galen, Brennan (he prefers Brandon, but we know, literally 6 Brandons), Benjamin (now pretty much because of the dog) and Logan. The only one we can kinda agree on is Dominic (family name on my grandmother's side)...however, we shared that one awhile ago and one of my friends from HS named her baby that, so now I'm iffy. They won't be in school anywhere near each other, but she was the first out of our group of friends to have a baby and it would seem as though I stole it (even though I've liked it since I was 10).
And names are a LOT harder when you work at a school. Names=bad associations. I hate Nicholas, Jayden, Tyler, James, Allison, Trenton, Colton, Cody, Ethan, Donald, Dylan, Rose, Breanna, Natasha and SOOOOO many more just because of the little kids that are associated with them. (Disclaimer: if you are/have named your baby one of those names, I'm not ragging on the name, just the association it has for me personally).
No problem. Hope he likes it. If he doesn't, it just proves his poor taste.
I love the name Kate (or Cate). I really dont like Catherine, etc. Kate was a contender for a middle name but with a different first name than the one we're going with.
Jesse suggested Doug (uh no) and other names similar. He didnt like my favorite boy name, which was Gage; and he fought to the death over my favorite favorite girl name, Lilla (Lil-uh) because it was too close to my sister's name, Lili. Meh, it would have been fine.
I was pretty serious about naming this kid Olive. I really thought he would give me hell over it but he didnt fight one bit. He really likes it plus we're using his grandma's first name as a middle name and they sound great together. We also agreed on three boy names that were at the top of our list til we found out baby is a girl. Its took a bit to agree but we got there.
Robin's favorite name is Kaylee. I am not a fan. I don't really like anything that ends in lee or ley. There are so many -lees at school. They just all run together. This year, I have Bailey, Hali, Kayleigh, Kylie, Kaylyn, Shalin, Kaitlyn, and Catelyn. I have to do a double-take every time I call on one of these kids.
I think Presley is totally a girl's name. I know 2 boy Presleys, but it just seems girly to me. Same goes with Skylar. I just feel bad for those boys. Robin is majorly anti unisex names (especially for boys), because he hates his own name.

I guess I lucked out H didn't have any favorites but he was quick to poopoo the ones he didn't care for (Max, Annabelle, Braedon, Ariel) all names I liked!
