calling all iphone users
So I crossed over finally from blackberry to iphone and I am having a few issues I am hoping you ladies can resolve...
1) when I used to get an email on my bb it would notify me as soon as the email came in. With the Iphone I have to check my mail and then it will update the mailbox..anyway to fix/correct this?
2) my calendar is stuck. I was trying to update something I had scheduled and it wont let me edit, complete it or delete it. It shows the date as being in 2001 and I changed it to 2011 and its still not working. Anyway we can troubleshoot this without a trip to verizon?
3) it is pretty cool.

For the email issue, you have to go into "settings", "mail, contacts, calender", "fetch new data"....then turn the "push" to on and change the frequency it checks the server. I have mine set at every 30 minutes so it doesnt kill my battery.
Also make sure you close out back lying programs every so often during the day to speed it up. Double click the mail screen button and all your running programs open up n the bottom. Hold one down until they start shaking and then "x" them all out.
I dont use the calender, so im no help there.
