We have (had) gorgeous white sheets from Restoration Hardware. So soft! However, they are now darker in some areas than others. I've tried adding bleach to the cycle but that didn't work. Any suggestions on how to get my pretty white back?
TIA!!

Re: White sheets... help!
Could it be a oily buildup from sleeping on them? My DH is the worst at this and his side always gets gross, I could change the sheets daily and still end up with dingy sheets in the long run. I replace sheets fairly regularly because of it.
Would vinegar in the wash loosen oily residue? what about a bit of dawn dish soap? Then line dry in the sun.

We had Vera Wang bright white sheets for a few years and had the same problem. The oils in your skin cause the discoloration.
I sprayed shout on the discolored areas, then washed with detergent, bleach and a scoop of oxy clean. It worked really well.
