My AW (And it's work-related, just fyi, if you don't want to read that): I had some very heartwarming and kind things written in my yearbook yesterday. Like, made me tear up-type comments.
FFFC: I let the students sign my yearbook. It's my main perk as a yearbook adviser.

Re: FFFC and AW's
AW: Since getting my braces last month I have been a very soft food diet (mainly because of the bite turbos that are behind 2 of my front teeth) since I can't chew. This has resulted in me not eating much at all most days because yogurt, ice cream, mashed poatoes and cottage cheese just don't sound good all the time; therefore I have lost some weight and can now fit in jeans a smaller size than I was wearing.
FFFC: Nothing today; like usual.
AW: Today is DH's last day working for the man - he is totally pumped up.
FFFC: House related - our fvcking bathroom still isn't done. I am ready to kill.
AW: I finally caved and bought a new printer last weekend...and it came in yesterday! Too effing bad my stupid laptop crashed this week. Ugh. But the printer is so pretty.
FFFC: I'm all sorts of annoyed this morning, and I'm not quite sure why. Little things have been snapping me off lately. I need a break.
Oh, I actually have a "good" FFFC:
We had to reschedule our anniversary trip to next March due to DH's new job. We don't have any other trips planned until my work meetings in NYC in September but we both need a break SO BAD.
We can't afford it, but we are going to go on vacation the week of Memorial Day anyway. Ever since we got married we have gone on a trip then but elected not to go this year due to all of our remodeling. However, we are both at our wits end and need some R&R *pronto* - so we are going to look this afternoon and get something booked. I know its bad and its wrong but I do not care.
FFFC: I have had little to no patience with my kiddo this last week. I feel like I have to ask/tell him everything like 5 times so doing ANYTHING turns into a struggle. I know it's a normal phase for a three year old, but it's maddening and it makes me start every interaction already irritable.
AW: I'm buying some land (~1.5 acres) to eventually build a new home on. The neighborhood is outside of my current financial capability, but I can afford to pay on the land in addition to my current mortgage for a few years, thus making the new home cost doable.
AW: I got some great affirmation yesterday about my reputation and abilities as a teacher. It was so encouraging, since I'm just a second-year teacher, and an alternatively-certified one at that! I took a huge risk changing careers, and it feels great to know I made a good choice.
FFFC: I'm putting my grad school plans on hold indefinitely. I just can't make it all work right now.
AW: I've lost about 20 pounds over the last 6ish months. I haven't felt like it's been too noticable though. I'm still wearing the same jeans, they're just a tad looser. But 2 people at work have asked me if I'm losing weight! That was nice to hear!
FFFC: Not really a confession, just a thought. I think the concept of a 2 piece swimsuit is strange. It's like being in front of people in your bra and underwear. Maybe I'm just too modest, but I've never felt comfortable in a 2 piece, even when I was really skinny in high school. I just always feel like I need to cover myself up lol.
