and my @#!$% bathroom is still not done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has been the longest week EVER. If I can't take a seriously long bath in my tub tonight and not worry about getting ready for work in the morning tomorrow I am going to go BSC!
B went back to work today. So its been my FIL, BIL and UncleIL over here working on the house. I am so grateful to have them helping but I am beyond frustrated with this project. Yesterday the subfloor cracked and B had to re patch it before he went to his parents for the night. This morning I check out the patch job and it was a mess. They had to chip it out and start over again. Now they think the whole floor might not be good. The vanity, vanity top, and the medicine cabinet we bought a month ago have been a nightmare too. Just as they were getting ready to set the vanity top in place they realized it was cracked. Then the medicine cabinet is way too big. I measures width but didn't take into account height. It would go from the top of the vanity to the ceiling with no room for a light. So we took those both back. Finding a medicine cabinet that matches the wood of the vanity is proving to be quite a challenge. I just bought another one but it might be about a half inch to narrow to cover the existing hole in the wall.
Not to mention that B has been calling me every so often for updates and he never believes anything I say. So I have to put my FIL on the phone and they argue. I know its frustrating that he isnt here to see what is going on, but its frustrating on my end trying to deal with it in his absence.
Re: It is 2:40pm Sunday afternoon
Ughh, i'd be frustrated too. how many times did you have to go back to the home depot, etc? With our DIY projects, I spend most of my time being the gofer!
I hope things start speeding along for you in time to take your needed relaxing bath tonight.

OMG I lost count. Yesterday I went 3 times and B went once. Today alone there were 3 trips and we still have to go back. We need to get more tile for the floor, return another medicine cabinet, find on that will work in that #!$@ hole in the wall, have blind cut, and get tiles for the drop ceiling in the kitchen.
So we are about 70% done with all the projects. I now have a functioning toilette and shower!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I didnt get to have my relaxing bath tonight b/c the floor isn't quite finished and I'm not supposed to get the floor wet. I always make a mess when I get a bath LOL. But it did feel glorious to shower in my own house.
Sorry all the pics are sideways. I'm too tired to fix them.
BIL is coming back tomorrow to fix something with the sink and then he will put the doors and drawers in. Still waiting on a stupid medicine cabinet. I temporarily hung a mirror in the hole tonight so I can do m hair in the AM.
I love the floor!!! So much better then that white tile we had before.
Ill have to find a before picture for reference, but no more horrid wall paper!! Nice antique white walls with bright white trim. Next on the list of things to do is replace the carpet on the steps and in the hall.
This is the new area rug we picked up at Homegoods yesterday. Still have to hang the curtains and get new blinds. I also want to get new throw pillows to compliment the carpet.
