  • You are just being honest with yourself, there is nothing wrong with that.  And even if you are a teeny  bit disappointed, it doesn't mean you love that baby any less and that is what really matters.

  • I hear you.  I've already gotten over not having a girl, but I'll be honest and say I was...well, I hate to use the word disappointed, but you know what I mean.  And yes, tears were shed.  That said, I LOVE having my two boys around and seeing how Alex interacts with Cameron is so much fun.

  • I had wanted another boy, only because R was SOOO easy, and everyone says girls are so much more difficult.  Plus, DH wanted a girl so badly and I knew she'd be spoiled rotten, that I almost didn't want to have to deal with that.  Well, I was a bit disappointed finding out K was going to be a girl, but I quickly got over it and became more and more excited until she arrived.  Now... at 6 weeks old, I find myself more and more in love with her every day.

And, it's okay to be a bit disappointed, you'll still love the baby more than you can imagine you'd be able to!
