Weekend Recap
What did you do this weekend?
Friday we had a birthday party for a friend of ours - we were driving home in that downpour - holy crap it was horrible!
Saturday was my sisters wedding - it was freezing out and I'm so glad I brought a sweater wrap to wear. Although my bare toes were freezing...
Sunday I helped my cousin register for her baby shower and then had dinner with friends.

Sat - Went to Eastern Market for the first time and had so much fun. Got some new plants and planted them right away, finished DH's laundry
Sun - Ironed DH's clothes for the week and helped him pack up to go back to Indiana.

Friday: We bought DH a new bike! There was a grand opening sale at a new store in AA and we got one of the one's at the top of his list for about $150 less than full price at ***'s. After that, we both kind of passed out because we had stayed up late watching the wings the night before.
Sat: DH worked on his car all day, and I was a lazy bum on the couch. It was great.
Sun: We were supposed to go to the tiger's game, but it got rained out. So we just hung out w/ some friends downtown all day.
ETA: that would be D!ck's, its a name for goodness sakes!
Friday: went to the park with the kids, then stayed outside way too late talking to neighbors and letting T jump on a trampoline with some other kids.
Saturday: cleaned the heck out of the house in the morning, went exploring by myself after getting really cranky about dh stalling and missing the farmer's market
Sunday: lazy day- skipped farmers market due to rain. We realized we had no food for dinner and went to IKEA then grocery store, then home to continue lazy day. I did do a craft for B's 1st birthday though... I made him a VHC shirt--- LOVE IT!

Losing it...Without Losing it
Friday - just hung out at home while DH cut the lawn at our house
Saturday - DH showed the rental home to potential renters and they called back a few hours later and wanted to put a deposit down to hold it. Woo-hoo! That evening we had an engagement party so Brendan spent the evening at my SIL's playing with his cousins.
Sunday - met the renters at the house to sign paperwork and then I had a baby shower. DH stayed home and tried to do things around the house, but was pretty unsuccessful. We had a frustrating Sunday evening.
Friday: DH came over since he is only about 2hrs away last week and this week. We went to dinner and just hung out.
Saturday: DH and I worked out in hotel, then went to the park for a run. We went to a brazilian bbq (churrascaria) for dinner and ate waaaay too much. then saw Fast 5, gosh I love Paul Walker.
Sunday: Lunch with friends and relaxed with DH at the outside bar at hotel. He left this morning and I miss him already.
Friday - it took forever to get home from work, so we just grabbed dinner at a little mexican place...it was not so great. Fell asleep on the couch early like all Friday nights!
Saturday - got our carpets and couch cleaned in the AM, they look so awesome! I am so glad we did it. But they took forever to dry because of the rain and cloudy day. Ordered my BM dress for a wedding in November and the woman measuring me made the comment while measuring my bust, "Oh, your milk must be coming in!". Just finishing measuring and let's get on with this, thanks. Went to Costco. Went out to dinner with DH for our belated anniversary.
Sunday - woke up early, went grocery shopping and picked up some flats at Bordines. My friend came over to check out the nursery and ended up helping DH put together the pack and play. Thank god we stepped in when we did...it was not looking so good there for a while! Then DH and I put the swing together.
Friday - we were off, so we made the trip out to Canton to get the book case at IKEA, and had lunch at Antonios!! Then spent the night working on the office
Saturday - It was me and LO all day. We went to Target to get last minute items for a shower, and to get LO some shorts. Then my mom came by so we could use Kohls cash with her 30% off coupon. Of course, I couldn't find anything
Sunday - Bridal shower for my work spouse and his future bride! It was nice to hang out with some friends for a bit, then made a sweat night out of a cold and rainy day!
Friday - I spent the day at my mom's, then went and took photos of my little brother going to prom! I can't believe he is graduating from high school so soon - he and his girlfriend looked so nice Friday night!
Saturday - Cleaned the house and took Daisy to the pet store to get a few things, then hung out at my parents before picking DH up at the airport. After DH got home we cooked up a steak dinner and then just hung out for the evening.
Sunday - Ran a few errands in the pouring rain in the morning, then I worked on my little brother's graduation scrapbook and also made a trip to the scrapbook store. We went to dinner at Aubree's which was so good (Just thinking of it has me excited for lunch leftovers)!
Friday - hung out at the ILs, let the kids play
Saturday - took Will to swim class, went to tennis playoffs and won both matches with some nailbiters for the rest of my team, went to dinner with the team to Fishbone's
Sunday - took kids to Greenfield Village to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine, it was so cold and rainy, we just rode and left. We were so wet, poor Sam's lips were quivering! Then I had the championship tennis match, my partner and I won but the rest of our team didn't, so we don't go on. Bummer, but I'm really happy with the way I'm playing.
I was in NYC with my little sister. Friday I took her to the Statute of Liberty, Ground Zero site and we saw Wicked that night. Saturday we just walked around places like Central Park, Grand Central Station & Union Square. We also went to a sample sale.
It was a jam packed couple of days.
How was it?
I went to Traverse City for a bachelorette party and drove the whole way there and back (about 5 hours each time due to traffic), as well as drove us around to all the wineries and bars (along with a very painful and expensive Taco Bell trip at the end of the night).
I had fun and didn't mind that I couldn't drink -- exept for some tastes at the wineries. And it was only logical that I drive since I was the only sober one. But I was not happy when I was declared the driver home since everyone else was too hungover to drive.
But besides that, we had a blast!
saturday & sunday -- we spent both days cleaning & reorganizing the garage. We condensed stuff, put stuff up in rafters, built shelves, etc... Our goal was to clear out a large enough space (8'x17') so that we can put the camper in the garage at the end of the summer for winter storage and that mission was accomplished. We have a deep garage so it will fit sideways along the back wall. We even put up barriers to where it will be at & made sure our cars will also fit. I'm excited about this because the camper will last longer if it's garage kept in winters.

9/4-seen sac/yolk, 9/7-9/12 hospitalized for a ruptured cyst causing massive internal bleeding.
9/11-seen HB!! 9/18- no HB, 9/21/12-D&C. Fetal tissue testing revealed a healthy boy. Now getting more tests to try to figure out this mystery
Friday: nothing
Saturday: ran errands, went to a Grad party celebrating my friend's Masters degree
Sunday: church
Good weekend to stay in and get caught up on things.
Friday: pizza and Green Hornet with H
Sat: defensive driving course, Birmingham Art Fair, dinner with H, my mom and step dad
Sun: brunch with H, my mom and stepdad, picked up crib mattress, napping, El Charro for dinner
It was kind of a lame weekend...with the rain I didn't feel like doing much of anything.
Friday I didn't get home until about 10:00 p.m. (flew in from San Antonio that day).
Saturday and Sunday I really didn't do much of anything. I had been out of town for two weeks so I took a break from everything. We basically caught up on everything on our DVR. I did do some laundry
Friday - BBQ @ one of H's coworkers. Ellie had a blast and was mesmerized by the little fire pit. It was her 1st "party" so we were relieved she didn't flip out.
Sat - We had friends over for a game night. There was more drinking than game playing, but I didn't care. It felt so good to be at home and relaxed and have a good time w/ friends.
Sun - I bought 3 pair of shoes
Friday - Went to Old Navy since they had a big sale
Saturday - We cleaned the house and went to dinner with MIL and my Mom.
Sunday - Hunter is cutting a tooth, so I wore him in the ergo most of the day... I am tired.

Friday: BBQ at friends. Was a blast.
Sat: cleaned up some, laundry, Claws & Paws walk/run at Clawson City Park with DH & dog. Was a blast. Although DH was the slowest out of the three of us which is not normal.
Sun: finished cleaning. Went to cell phone store to discuss options on my cell phone. It has been acting up. Will be getting replacement Tuesday or Wednesday. Woohooo!. Got DH some running shoes since he's finally given into running with me instead of complaining about me being gone running so much! another Woohoo! Then relaxed...
Really not sure where the weekend went! But it was a great weekend minus the fact that Mother Nature can't decide if she wants to bring us summer-ish weather or winter-ish weather.
Friday: I got to come home from work early which was nice. Did some errands, and then not much else.
Saturday: We had the Washtenaw County AHA Heart Walk with DH's company since they were a sponsor. It was a lot of fun until the downpours started. We went to the Farmington Farmer's Market, Church, and just relaxed in the evening.
Sunday: Went to look at houses and found one we absolutely love! I"m so excited and hoping it works out! We're getting some more details and hoping to take a second look within the next day or so, and hopefully make an offer in the next few days!
Friday: I have no idea. I hardly even count this as part of the weekend anymore. I am sure we just had dinner and watched the TiVo.
Saturday: Four words - Royal Oak Wine Stroll.
It was a really great time. The weather held out and we both enjoyed the wine and food. I highly recommend for next year. After it was done, we went home and slept off the wine with a nap, then a rented a couple movies.
Sunday: Thanks to the rain, pretty much nothing. Made breakfast and laid on the couch catching up on TiVo...including Swamp People (now that's an "interesting" show). The bf is getting a cold, so that kept most house cleaning out of the picture since I refuse to do it all on my own.
Managed to get a couple loads of laundry done, cut the dog hair out of the bottom of the vacuum, and vacuumed the living room. The only thing the rain was good for was hopefully getting the grass seed to grow I put down in the backyard last week.
Friday: Worked, watched what we had DVR'ed (House and the Office)
Saturday: Home depot, cleaned, went out for my friends little sisters 21st birthday.
Sunday: Work and nephews fifth birthday party! <------------ this was my fave part of the weekend!
