I'm sooooo mad, I'm about to go to the OB and my appt. is at 8:40am so there's no way I'll be able to see the launch

I saw it. It was pretty cool. Just walked out of my office and you could see it pretty clear.
Sorry you have to miss it. I had no idea it was this morning and after reading this I was able to watch the launch live on my computer at work!
ETA: nevermind, glad you got to see it! I am jealous of you ladies over there who could see it when you stepped outside! I wonder if I would have been able to see it here in Tally if I had gone outside.
Yay! Glad you got to see it. I was going to say if you were at the Downtown location, you could probably see it from the window, but you were at Mandarin, right?
Our ops meeting ended at 8:55, so we all went to the window to watch. Pretty cool!
So y'all were in the training room! We went down there first, but heard people so then we ran outside.

That's such a bummer you didn't see more! I saw the youtube video from the launch and the clouds were super low! I was talking to JJ on the phone when it came into view and I was jumping up and down on San Jose, lol. After it made a giant arch and trail of smoke it disappeared and I was like, oh man, it went behind clouds. But JJ was watching it on TV and he said no, the rocket boosters just came off! I didn't see them fall because it was a tiny speck of light, but still cool that I could tell exactly when they came off!
