Best cleaner for wood cabinets?
We are moving into our new-to-us home at the end of the month. We need to do a thorough cleaning of all the rooms because the house has been empty for about 8 months. It's about 25 years old so i can imagine there is about 25 years worth of kitchen junk on the cabinets. what's the best cleaner to use to get off the grime?
we use pretty enviro-friendly stuff on a daily basis...but for this one time job i'm looking for waht works best...not necessarily waht's eco-friendly. catch my drift?

I'll second Murphy's Oil Soap. I used it on my cabinets. If you need extra oomph, use a scrub brush. It does a great job of removing the foody crap, but still keeping the wood shiny.
I used to use it in art school to get the oil paint out of my brushes. That's how I knew it would be good to get the greasy crap off my cabinets.
Murphy's Oil Soap, Endust, and Pledge are some of the worst things you can put on cabinets, or any wood for that matter. I've found vinegar and water works best but ymmv.
