Re: hope you girls had a great weekend!

  • Hi!  Mine was pretty good..we traveled all across Chicagoland Saturday to find a gun for DH's dad.  He wants a specific one and we are splitting it with his mom.

This weekend was my first AF after BCP...and it was a killer.  I forgot why I went on them and that quickly reminded me!!!

  • We chilled most of the weekend but we did go to the movies Saturday and saw Thor.  Good flick.  DH got me hooked on superhero action.  :)

Miss you guys - they're really cracking down on social media policy at work so no more nesting for me during the day.  :(  Have a good Monday!

  • Our weekend was great! The weather really cooperated with my outdoor plans both Friday and Saturday. Sunday it stormed in the morning but then cleared up. We went for a walk on the beach and saw a wedding! That made me smile.
  • Hi Ladies, I hope everyone is doing well!

I got back from Vegas on Wednesday and work has been insane since then so I am glad that I have a chance to catch up with you all.

The weekend was find. DH got shipped up to Boston again on Friday and he will be back on Wednesday. Needless to say I had a pretty low key weekend without him. Saturday I met up with two of my girlfriends for a nice girls day. We got mani pedis, went to lunch, and then to see Bridesmaids. HILARIOUS!

Yesterday I just relaxed and watched some old episodes of True Blood.

Its rainy and crappy here in NY today, and for the next 5 days....heres hoping the week flies by!

  • We had an awesomely low key weekend.  Friday night I felt like crap, so I just read a book and watched some tv.

Saturday morning I ran to Sam's Club while DH was at work.  That night we tried a new to us pizza place with a friend.  It was super yummy and we decided we need to go there more often since they aren't far from us at all.

Sunday was an extremely lazy day.  I never got dressed and loved every minute of it.  The only things I did were make a batch of banana muffins and made dinner.

  • Hey all! I had a great weekend, quite a busy one at that!

Friday night DH and I went out for the evening with his hockey buddies and wives at a localish bar where another hockey guy works. We had a great time and were home before 11! I love outings like that which don't throw me off the routine so much. I had 3 pomegranate martinis and they were goooooood. Hehe.

Saturday we went to NJ and stocked up on some beer, wine and spirits. Its way overpriced here so we saved like $50 or more by paying a $2 toll and the gas/travel time which is fun to get out anyway. We stopped at a sports bar where we used to frequent every other Saturday during our dating days. Lots of fun, took the rest of the day easy.

Sunday I was a cleaning freak and tidied up and cleaned the rest of the knobs/ handles in our kitchen before heading off to DH's hockey game and BBQ afterwards. Had a great time, wish the weekend kept going!

  • Mine was busy!  Friday after work I met DH at the dog park with the dogs.  Afterwards we stopped for pizza and ice cream.  Took it home and watched a movie.

Saturday we were up really early to transport Sam to the pick up location.  On our way back we stopped at a few rummage sales.  After we got home, I quickly at some lunch and then packed to go to my sister's.  Once at my sister's we did a few things around her house.  She is hoping to put it on the market soon so she's finishing up a few projects.

Then yesterday I came home around 6 and DH walked to go get some dinner and then ate it and watched a movie.

  • Pretty quiet weekend for me. We went to my Nonna's which was a nice way to spend Sunday and Saturday night I had a little snuggle time w/ my Gus :) who has his first tooth and he grabbed my finger and put it in his mouth just to show me how sharp that little tooth is :) hahaha.
  • We had a crazy but awesome weekend!  Saturday I spent all day with middle schoolers teaching them science and doing colorful experiments - it was a blast but man did they require a lot of energy!  Sunday we got up at 5 am to drive to Disneyland!!!  It was wonderful! We didn't make it home until 11:30, when I just fell into bed!
