doctors and ttc
did you girls meet with your dr before tcc?if so how far ahead?
i have to go next week to just my primary and although we are thinking of starting sometime after November i am not sure if i should bring it up, or even if i would say anything to my primary anyways.

i met with my OB a few months before i wanted to ttc the first time - she went over a few things, told me when to stop bc and suggested over the counter prenatals.
Definitely bring it up, and make sure to get updates to any of your vaccinations that are out of date before you are ttc. There are some vaccinations that are dangerous to get once you are pg, so you'll want to make sure you're all up to date ahead of time.
Also, you should start prenatal vitamins at least a month before you start ttc to build up folic acid levels.

The updated Tetanus shot with the whopping cough vaccines in it. Is important to get or they will give it to you later in PG. Unless you have a current Tetanus shot then they can't give it to you.
Mine did this too.
my read shelf:
she told me to start taking prenatals while we ttc to build up folic acid. they told me the "every other day" method worked best. but i found that when we "didn't try as hard" we got pregnant.
