Weight Watchers Advice

I have my weight tracking day set to Mondays, hoping it would keep me on track through the weekend.  However, I still tend to eat most of my weekly points on the weekend (while I eat great during the week), so my weigh-ins have not been good.  For example, on Friday I weight 135.8, and today I was back at 139.6.  I'm sure tomorrow it will drop. 

 I was just curious as to when you guys do your weigh-ins.  I thought about Fridays so I have a few days to recover after the weekend, but now I'm wondering if Tuesday would be good.  It's close to the weekend to keep me in check, but still gives me one to to even out.

 Thoughts?

  • As long as you're going down from Monday to Monday, don't be too hard on yourself.  All that matters is the long-term goals :)

     

    I do Wednesdays, but that's just when the on-campus (at work) meeting is.

    I definitely agree with Steph on that point.

     

    I weigh in on Tuesdays. I don't step on the scale at any other time during the week. With my history with food, I don't really want to trigger anything by obsessing over the number on the scales on a daily basis.

    That being said, I'm thinking about changing my weigh in day to Thursday or Friday, for the weekly points. That way, I'll be able to enjoy my weekend with DH without really worrying about staying within my daily points. During the week, I'm better at staying within my points since I'm away from DH for 2 out of 3 main meals.
