Favorite tv show cancelled?
It never fails that H and I get into a tv show and then it gets cancelled. This year it's Outsourced and The Chicago Code. Did any of your favorite tv shows get cancelled?

There was a show on ABC a long time ago - like maybe 10 years ago - called "Cupid" w/ Jeremy Piven. I also still miss Freaks and Geeks.

The canceled Human Target?? Damn it! I didn't know that. H and I really liked that show. We suck at watching anything on a regular basis, but we watched that one whenever we happened to catch it.

I heard it on the radio this morning. I thought the cast had really good chemistry and was sufficiently different from HIMYM to fly. I can't understand how shows like 2 1/2 Men and Big Bang Theory are still on and these shows get canceled.

LOL. No, it's a nickname I've had since I was a little kid. Wawa is what everybody calls me, Jeanne is my middle name.
My sister did actually work for Wawa in high school, which was an endless source of jokes for the family.

I have to assume it was not getting good ratings. Because yeah, the story was complicated, but that's why it was good! But you need *time* to develop a complicated story line. Look at LOST - that was BSC and everyone loved it (me included).

On the list Tygress linked to, I only watch(ed) a few of them and I'm on board with them ending - Big Love, Entourage, RHoDC and Lie to Me (which I didn't watch religiously).
DH routinely gets interested in shows only to have them cancelled. We call him a jinx because it's happened so often, and the most recent one that comes to mind is Jericho. He loved that show.
The last ones I remember being into that I was sad were cancelled were K-Town (set in post-Katrina NOLA) and a show set in Miami around a family that grew sugarcane (was it called Cane? I'm too lazy to look it up). They both went off the air during the writers' strikes and just never came back.
Um, I, uh...
No, I don't get the appeal. Can we still be friends? We still have brooches and cake!

I feel like they dont give shows a good enough chance!
