Hi ladies!
Thanks to karebear for keeping everyone updated!
So R was born at 12:48 on Friday 13, the same day as my Grandma who had her 90th birthday that day and she was also born on a Friday! So cool. I'll write out a birth story sometime later but I did end up going *mostly* natural with a little help for the last 2 hours of contractions but that was gone by the time it came to pushing. We lucked out and our birth class instructor ended up being our nurse so we had extra help through labor which was amazing. H was absolutely unbelievable in his support and keeping me relaxed. Our birth instructor said she wished she could have filmed him as an example :-) R was 7lbs 9.2oz and 19.25 inches long.
We came home with R last night after he spent 6 hours in the sun bed at the hospital because his Bili Reuben/jaundice counts were a little high. First night went well, hopefully that continues! He is eating really well so far (I'm BFing) and seems to be a pretty happy camper all around.
Thanks for all the well wishes ladies! We haven't gotten our pics loaded yet but here's one from my phone:
