Woodstone Creek?

Has anyone been to this winery?  Is the wine good?  I am thinking about a wine tasting here, just for something different to do.  Any recs for other wineries in the tri-state area?  I want to go to Elk Creek, but they don't do private tastings and you have to have a minimum of 6 people.  There's just 2 of us.

Re: Woodstone Creek?

  • I think it's Heinke Winery on the West side of town. They serve food with their wine - the decor is 1984 pastel hell but the food is pretty good.

There's also Kinkeade (sp?) Ridge about an hour East. I haven't been there, but it's been recommended to me before.

  • Love Henke Winery on the westside, you can get some food and have a nice wine tasting. Yes the decor is ugly but the wine is still great! Go on a Tuesday evening if you can when its not as busy so you can get some 1 on 1 attention if that is what you like. I also love their pizza bread, yum. So hungry....
