  I used to live in that area. I have friends whom use 2 diff pediatricians over that way...the first is Dr Nassar at crystal run healthcare in middletown (right by the mall) the other is monrow pediactrics. both have come with good reccomendations. I considered both when we were going to live over there with our son but we decided to move so we are in poughkeepsie now. Good luck with your search!

  I take A to Monroe Medical Arts- 91 Lakes Rd Monroe, NY 10950 (845)782-8608. They came by recommendation of our neighbor who has been bringing their son there for years. There are 3 male doctors in the practice. Our favorite is Dr. Barrenfeld who I try to always ask for. He is very friendly with A and always answers all my questions. I also feel he is up to date on things like vaccines, starting solids, development. The other 2 doctors (Hannas and Markowitz) are good also. We have seen all of them. They do have sat hours and I've even been able to bring A in on a sunday. I don't think they have late hours though, I've never needed them so I'm not 100% sure. GL

  I second Dr. Nasser, he is head of pediatrics at Crystal Run Healthcare. He is a really great doctor.  I use him if my ped is out.  He is a certified pediatrician and internist (so he is my primary care doctor).  He is very up to date on research.  I use Dr. Reminar at Crystal Run and absolutely adore her. I got her one day when K was sick when K was 4 months old and stuck with her ever since!
