to have one kid?!!
I took Keaghan to the docs today for a follow up on his sinus infection/super bad cough and then brought him home and DH is picking up Jack on his way home...
We came in and took off shoes and coats and then he was playing with his magna doodle so I was putting stuff away, went into his room to fold diapers, he grabbed his lovies and went and sat on the couch, for about 10 minutes while I finished putting stuff away... now he is sitting on the floor in my room back at the magna doodle...
is it really this easy with just one, not two stealing each others toys and pulling on the others arm/leg/hair/toy?!!
not saying its easy all the time to have one, but compared to the craziness of two, I am going to have to do this more often!!
Re: Is this really what its like....
Sometimes it's like that.
Sometimes it's "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" because there's no one else to pester or play with.
My Wedding Bio! Not updated in a LONG time!
We are definitely going to try to make it happen more often...we have a plan for when they are a little older to have special "dates" with each of us alone so K would stay home with me and Jack would go out with Josh one time and then K would go out with Josh and Jack would stay home with me and then Josh would stay home with each of them while I went out with them individually... just waiting for them to be a little older so they appreciate it a bit more...
katsblaze, have you read "Emotionally Healthy Twins" it was highly recommended to me and had some great stuff in it... here is the link: http://tinyurl.com/3jfrc8z
if you want to borrow it let me know and we can meet up or I can ship it up to you!
I agree! What a nice change of pace for you both.
I haven't, but I think I will order it today so that I can have a copy as well. It loooks like a good read. Thank you so much!!!!
