How was the weekend?
I got to hang with my brother on Friday that was fun, Saturday I was having a rough day but our friends came over that evening and I felt better. Sunday I did cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
This week... well nothing big today, but tomorrow I have an interview in the suburban district that I really wanted to work in. I'm a little nervous, but it'll be Ok.

Ugh, does anyone have nice weather? It's been raining here for about ever. I'm not enjoying it.
Derek got started on getting the ledgestone cut for the fire place front last night and omg it looks amazing. Tonight we'll likely start applying it! Ahh!
This weekend was pretty fun. Saturday at the bouncy castle place with Tim and Shannon and the kids (and about 50 other people) was an absolute blast. I played with one of the girls (in the bouncy things) the whole time, and Derek played with one of Tim's friends daughters. She took a real shining to him. I so want to go back and play again.
I'm on a serious fat loss cycle right now. Nothing overly restrictive, just strict. It's about time, so I might as well do it right, right?
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

I had a wonderful weekend. I just have to say I am super proud of Jordan. He finally learned to ride his bike without training wheels. We spent most of the afternoon yesterday walking around so he could ride his bike. It was perfect.
I have a really busy week this week I am praying I get it all done. Jordan has tball tomorrow night and they normally just play in shorts, but it is suppose to be in 40's tomorrow night. Plus his legs get so scratched up with shorts on so I am going tonight to find him a pair of baseball pants.
Good day ladies. Decent weekend here. Spent a lot of time at various pubs with friends, which was a lot of fun. Weather was decent here, although not great - but anything without rain is ok in my books. Went out for a run on Saturday for the first time in ages, and I didn't suck. I just have to force myself back out there this week to try to keep it going.
Yesterday we went to our first football (soccer) game here. Even though the team lost, it was a cool experience. Folks here get a little crazy for their footy, so it was wild to see and hear all the songs, chants, taunts, and yelling. We'll have to try to go back from a better game next season.

It's been a trying weekend. Edmund is not adjusting well to the tape which I expected. We took him to a soccer game Saturday evening and he did great and slept through most of it. I on the other hand am still sore from it.
Since I carried and fed Edmund all afternoon Saturday DH let me sleep 8 hours that night while he took care of him and then he took a nap when I got up.
I went to a 10 year old birthday party and while I was away the tape we put on him broke. When we tried to change it we couldn't get it to stay sticking to his face. So we let him have a break from it for the rest of the day. We are going to have our pediatrician help us this morning.
I really wish I could have slept last night. I got up at 10am yesterday and haven't been asleep since. Edmund slept 5 hours straight and it would have been nice to sleep even those 5 hours.
The weather here has been pretty crappy. We have had more rain in the last 2 days than we normally get in the entire month of May.

My weekend was uh eventful. Let's just say, yes we were at a bar/club (about 15 of us), so yes most were in a rought shape (but not to the point stumbling around), and ahh we basically got kicked out. I was asked to gather the group and it was time to leave. Really? A group of 15 all over the age of 30. For realz? Long story short, the bouncer had it out for us from the minute we walked in. I complained to the bartender/owner and things were good until around midnight. To top it off, one of my friends threw up in my van while she was passed out. (mind you it was pouring rain, had the window open driving with her head out the window). She was at my house at 6:00 a.m. (yes she was still drunk) scrubbing it with a toothbrush.
Oh and then my boys decided that the ONE freaking night mom and dad go out to sleep for 13 hours without waking up at their Nana's. What? So DH and I have decided that they just don't like us.
So now I am here at work ready to crank out some serious work. Hope everyone else had a better weekend. Enjoy your day!
Morning, all. Back to work after a week in Cancun. Trading the ocean for a cube is kind of not fun.
Weekend was fine. We traveled back on Saturday, so that took up most of the day. Yesterday we did a few errands and touched up the apartment--nothing too exciting. This week should be okay overall.
Off to get some coffee to help me get started on the day!
It rained here off and on all weekend and will do so for the next three or four days. This weekend was nothing special. I made what is probably the world's most high calorie cookie, Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies, to take to my SIL's on Sunday. They were awesome.
This morning has not started off well, which does not bode well for the week. I had a blood draw at 7:30 this morning and for the first time ever, they weren't able to get a big enough sample with the first stick, so I got stuck in BOTH arms. Plus, I already know that it's going to be negative. Then I ordered oatmeal from Corner Bakery and it was so salty that I took it back and got my money back. It was horrible. I got oatmeal from Starbucks instead and it's ok, but my day is not off to a good start.

I feel like (and this seems to be the trend here) that my weeks seem to start with me hitting the ground running. I'd lost my voice yesterday, so spent the day in my pjs (though I did whip up 2 batches of Cherry Coke Cupcakes for my school bake sale today):
They're pretty tasty, I won't lie. I've got more club meetings than I know what to do with too.

Our weather was pretty gross all weekend as well. It was cold and rainy the entire time we were at the farmer's market (and almost the entire weekend for that matter). We went from upper 80s last week to 30s and 40s again. Ugh. Due to the weather the market was incredibly slow. We had our worst week ever. Because it was so cold though Kyle and I took turns running the booth while the other person walked around to warm up. This meant that we got in a lot of good shopping. We came home with 2 loaves of fresh bread, fresh cheese and asparagus. Yum! After the market we came home and made chili to warm up.
Yesterday my step-nephew had his confirmation. My mom came to town for that and then came back to my house for a little while after.
This weekend was okay, I get a long weekend as I don't work today. This week has been pretty tough for the family I nanny for, last Sunday the father decided to leave and not come back. On Friday they went out for dinner while I took care of the kids and he told her there that he is done and doesn't want to be with her anymore. I just feel so sad for the family, and angry that he is doing this to his children. Anyway the mothers sister came into town yesterday and is taking care of the little ones today.
On happier news DH is almost done raising the money he needed to raise before starting his job on June 1st. This past week has been really encouraging for him. I am really excited for him because this is the job he hopes to do as a career for a good few years!
Good morning! My weekend was ok. Friday night we went to J's cousins wedding. The wedding was nice and it was good to see a bunch of people we haven't seen in a long time.
Saturday I got my hair done and got a pedicure, then I went to lunch with my mom. Sunday I slept until 11:30am, then did some chores around the house and went grocery shopping.
Oh and the weather sucks here too. It rained/snowed all last week. It's supposed to be in the upper sixties today then back to rain/snow for the rest of the week.

Friday we stayed up way to late. I slept in Saturday morning, which was much needed. We had tickets to see Patton Oswalt on Saturday night and it was a great show, I just need to remember 9:30 show times means getting home after midnight. ugh. I was seriously dragging yesterday. We didn't do much on Sunday, tons of laundry and moped around after finding out my dads secretary passed away.
Hello all! I had a very nice weekend minus yesterday afternoon, which was when H officially moved back down to Connecticut for the next 5 months
I'm getting very tired of this routine - I really hope this is the last year we have to do it.
Friday H picked me up from work and we went out to the suburbs for dinner, shopping, and a movie. I spent way too much $$ at Lululemon (per usual), but dinner was super fun and we saw Bridesmaids, which was very entertaining.
Saturday we mostly ran around doing errands to get H ready for the move, and then spent the night in while packing and getting his laundry done.
Yesterday, H went to an early morning charity basketball event (and I decided to skip out at the last minute, whoops!), then we finished packing his car, went to lunch and he left for CT :-( Luckily, I met up with a girlfriend right after that, so that was a nice distraction. Then I hit the gym for yoga and cardio, and caught up on more laundry.

Morning ladies. My weekend was good and fairly relaxing. I caught up on laundry and bills from being away, met up with a BM who lives out of town, and then hung out with my mom and went shopping for a new dress for a benefit B and I are attending on Friday.
Today, I'm working from home. One of the cats has a bladder infection (there was blood in the litterbox when I cleaned it this morning), and the vet suggested I try to figure out which cat it is, otherwise they will have to run tests on both of them. So alas, I'm keeping an eye on the kitties, and all they are doing now is sleeping. This was after they chased each other around for awhile. If only one of them would just say "mom, I'm the sick one, please take me to the vet". Too bad it doesn't work that way.
Rainy and gross here, too. Should be the same for another 5 days or so. For once, the weathermen have been pretty spot on. My dogs love the rain, puddles and anything they can get into to drive us batshit crazy outside, so I can't wait for this weather to be over.
Friday night we went to dinner and played games with friends. Saturday I slept in and then we were out and about all day doing weird odds and ends errands. Sunday was pretty much lounging, thanks to the rain making us sleepy. Nothing productive, not even an ounce of laundry. Hopefully some weeknights we'll actually get stuff done.

We had a great weekend. We did some car shopping Saturday, time for the convertible to go. Then we went shopping and I got a bathing suit and some vacation clothes. We leave on Saturday for Mexico!
Sunday, DH worked outside all day and I did cleaning inside.
Today, work is kicking my butt and I have so much to do so that is why I am so late!
oh, I did! will be having a repeat performance tomorrow night as well!

Good Afternoon! We had a busy weekend. Decided to have friends over Friday night, so Friday after work I cleaned the entire house while DH mowed the lawn. It was a lot of fun...we ordered a couple pizzas, drank and played Things (awesome game!).
Saturday was spent outside, weeding, clearing garden beds, and putting mulch down.
Sunday we ran a ton of errands, none of which were successful. We went to buy our bedroom set...it is discontinued. We bought a grill, and the box did not fit in our car. So we took everything out and piled it in the car. We also stopped at Macy's and bought new dishes. When we got home, we realized there was no assembly manual with the grill, and the dishes were broken. And the icing on the cake...the A/C went in my car.
So after work today, we are dropping the car off at the shop, going to Lowes to ask for a manual, and returning the plates to Macy's. Fun, fun, fun.
My weekend was good except for my insomnia cycle right now.
Saturday we had our friends' wedding and we both got our drink on and took a cab home. The wedding was very nice and so much fun.
Sunday was pretty low key. Went grocery shopping and them to ILs house for pizza for DHs birthday.
