New SAHM... GTG please!!
Hey ladies! I recently quit my job to stay home with my two-year-old. Not being in the daycare scene anymore, we are in need of some toddler-friendly social activities (preferrably on the cheap... this one-income thing is killing me!). Do any of you do playdates in/near New Tampa?? I'd love to hit up one of the area parks some morning!!

Hey there. I'm in the New Tampa area, and I'm off on Mondays and Thursdays. My daughter will be 3 in July.
I'd be happy to get together sometime. There's a great park right down the street from that has a lot of shade and is very toddler friendly.
We also have had some talk about a GTG at a sprayground sometime on a weekend day.
My silly Lily is almost 4.

A sprayground event would be fun, too! I don't know what everyone had in mind, but maybe the husbands could some if it's a weekend event? I'm down for mamas and kids only, but I know it would be nice to let the guys socialize a bit, too.
Hi, I'm not really a SAHM, but I don't work on Thursdays either, so I would be up for something. I don't live near New Tampa, but I'll drive, as Kate knows.
And yes, we do need to plan that sprayground GTG. Hmmm, maybe the 1st weekend in June?
I promised my husband and myself that I won't take on any more this month. It's been crazy, and I swear, I have no social life except, apparently, in May.
Thursdays are generally fantastic, but not this week. Pretty sure I can break my promise to myself and do next week, though
If no one has a better place in mind, I suggest the park that we go to a lot. It's in the Tampa Palms area on Amberly Drive. (Hampton Park)

Hampton Park sounds great to me.
As for scheduling, I will likely be in Key West next Thur. We're still deciding which day we're leaving, so there's a chance I won't be.... but I really hope I am :P The following Thur is our anniversary and I have a few things to take care of, but I might be able to sneak out for an hour or two in the morning. Do we want to aim for the 2nd or go a little farther out??
