Where do you buy candles?
I like Partylite's candles but I can't justify $13.50+ for a dozen.
Target?
Yankee Candle? (is the only one locally at MOA?)
What are your favorite fragrances?

Re: Where do you buy candles?
I use to burn candles ALL the time. Now I rarely do. I love my scentsy burner. The scents around $5 each and last a lot longer, so cheaper then candles.
When I did buy candles I loved Yankee candle. I know there are some at other malls (atleast I believe there are), they do sell them at Hallmark and Target. Other ones I really like are from Target, I can't think of the brand but they are in a white jar. They have a strong scent and the scent lasts.

I forgot about scentsy!
Do the scents last awhile or do they burn up quickly?
Is anyone in this post a Scentsy consultant? If I order online, I'd rather give someone I 'know' credit for the order.
I agree they last for what seems like FOREVER!!! I have a consultant I use if you want to use her.
We should do a nestie scentsy party.

They last forever! I've yet to ever run out of a scent. And that bar that you buy for $5; you don't use it all. You break off sections (pre-cut so it's easy to break) and depending on the room size and how strong you want the fragrance you only use maybe 2-3 little squares. I rotate scents every 2 months or so and when I'm done I pour the melted wax back into the container with the other squares I've yet to use and when it hardens it's still that full brick I bought for only $5. Hope that makes sense.

They don't "burn" because the wax is heated by a light bulb. They seriously last a REALLY long time. I'm not a consultant nor do I have a consultant, I always purchase through ones that are doing fundraisers (typically for animal rescues).
hmmm... I think I'm going to have to buy a couple.
I like what pp said about pouring the melted wax in the container to let harden and reuse. Very economical
Ok..what are all of your favorite scents?
Seriously. It's weird that I feel like I have a full bar even after several months of use! ha!
My all-time favorite so far (I've only tried 6 scents) is the Black Raspberry Vanilla. What type of scents are you interested in? Fruity? Musky? Flowery?
It's funny this post came up because I am in love with scentsy but don't have any yet...i just hooked up with a consultant in my area last weekend and am thinking about having a party because I have a lot of people that like them too that would come to a party. If I do end up having one, you can throw anything on my order or you can come to the party if you want to meet
.
You can always find candles on sale at Kohls. I do believe that they have some Yankee candles there too. I know it sounds crazy, but I got some really long lasting and great smelling ones from Menards! I think they were like Carolina Candle Company or something? I think I got the big jars (like 20 oz?) for about $5.
If you have one PLEASE let me know I will seriously come. I want to get a burner for LO's room and need more scents.
My favorite is satin sheets.

I enjoy this one as well.
my read shelf:
I'm a buzz kill... I've almost completely stopped buying candles...
1. they make the inside air quality horrible
2. the scents drive my nose/allergies crazy
When I do buy candles, I buy whatever candles I can find that are beeswax/soy/natural based without petrochemicals used in the fragrance.
If I do need some fragrance in the house, I'll usually just put a small pot of water on the stove (heat on low) and throw in it whatever scent I want the house to have. Vanilla, cinnamon sticks, citrus slices...

If it's pillars, the ball candles, or votives, I splurge on Partylite. They burn so nicely and cleanly that it's worth it to me!
I might have a coupon code you can use!
