3rd s/o of dressing/style

What would you consider your style (bohemian, preppy, etc) and do you incorporate that into your work clothes?

For example we have someone who is kind of bohemian here (at least that is the sense I get) and she will add her style with a kind of funky necklace or top underneath a suit or cardi, and sometimes hair style.

  • I consider myself kind of laid back in my style, very simple, edging on preppy.  I wear my strand of pearls at least once a week and I have a few argyle sweaters/vests that I sometimes wear to work.

  • I like classic simple pieces, and tend to stick to neutral colors (black, grays, navy, and white).  However I have bohemian/rock and roll tendencies that sneak in every once in a while. I think this stems from the fact that I used to be kind of a hippie when I was growing up.

  • I would say that I am basic and classic. I don't really get into trendy stuff too much, as I am rarely comfortable with it. Sometimes I will get into a trendy color palate, but that's about it.

I feel like that's my style too.  I teach, so I can dress in "my style" every day.  I'm redoing my wardrobe to include more simple, mix & match type pieces instead of "I can only wear this shirt with those pants" type stuff.
