Vegas recommendations

Hey ladies!  It seems like forever since I've posted...been working my hiney off while H finished up his first year of law school...

Anyways, we're going to Vegas for 4 days at the beginning of June.  We are wanting to go to a nice dinner our first night (our anniversary) and are looking for some recommendations.  Also, what are some good shows/things to do?

  • Talk to Blinkinglight. She's dubbed herself the Vegas Queen Stick out tongue Seriously though she can help ya out.

  • For dinner I like - Joe Stone Crab in the Forum Shops, Mon Ami Gabi in the Paris hotel (they have the best mojitos and sitting on the terrace at night is so much fun), Hugo's Wine Cellar (downtown - it is so old school and so much fun), Binnions (also downtown - extremely old school), Alize (Palms Hotel - great view), Serendipity 3 (outside of Caesar's), Nove (also in the Palms), In and Out Burger, and finally, there is this little cafe place in the Signature called Delights that has the best white chocolate french toast and breakfast calzones - ohhhhh my.

  • We liked Delmonicos in the Venetian. They have truffle potato chips that are out of this world. The only shows I've been to are one of the Cirque de Soleil shows (did not like) and the Thunder from Down Under (liked but not for anniversary trip, lol! I actually went with best friend after we graduated law school, so I know your DH deserves a break!) I also liked Madane Tussauds in the Venetian - we got a coupon book from the back of our taxi, so be sure to look for those! It's fun to walk the strip and visit the different hotels - be sure to wear comfy shoes though! Have fun!

  • As far as things to do - get a hotel with a nice pool and just veg the entire time you are there.  Your husband will probably sleep the entire time, lol.  The first year is SO hard - you both deserve a break!
  • thanks, ladies!  I knew I could count on you!
