movie: Something Borrowed

I saw this movie last night on a double date with my sis and her husband.  I wasn't that enthused about seeing it but I LOVED IT.  Very cute movie.  It made me tear up at some points and I think Ginnifer Goodwin is adorable.

I  do have to say that something about Kate Hudson was making her look older than her years in this movie and even my DH commented that she plays the same role in every movie.

  • Did you read the book? If so, how did it compare?

This is what I'm curious about too.

Also, I heard the movie Bridesmaids was HILARIOUS.

I just saw the movie tonight and I've read the book. I thought they stayed pretty true to it. I just gave my bff something blue. She was going to read something borrowed if it was drastically different, but I told her she could skip it since the movie did cover it.

On another note- my DH said to me last night. I wanna see that Bridesmaids movie, it looks hysterical! I just stared at him like this.....Indifferent

  • Of course the book is always better!!!
  • I saw the movie, I enjoyed it overall... I read the book a long time ago so I would never have been able to really tell the differences.  Same thing happened with Water for Elephants which is why I enjoyed it so much.   The ending infuriated me a bit tho in Something Borrowed.   but overall a good chick flick.
