Going to post here so I don't post on FB
I've maybe had an extra glass of wine tonight and really need to stay off facebook.
It's the most ridiculous, nit-picky thing, but my SIL constantly refers to "Bob and I's wedding" or "Bob & I's anniversary" (bob is not the real name) and the incorrect grammar drives me insane!!! Especially because she portrays herself as a highly educated, prim and proper, memorized Emily Post Etiquette, person. She just made another post referring to "Bob & I's blah blah blah" and it's taking everything in me not to correct her!
Nerd vent done.
Re: Going to post here so I don't post on FB
OMG I hate grammatical errors!! There are times that I won't post something because I don't think I have the grammar correct. I know, total loser
Have you seen the Someecards post that I put on FB a while back? The one about misspellings on FB? Freaking hysterical! You just need to come up with a sassy response to her mistake!

Sorry I don't know how to make it clicky
but I just can't. too much drama.
That bugs me too. Sometimes, I swear it takes every.fiber.of.my.being to not correct the grammar that was butchered or the never-ending misspellings (that are not do to "smart" phones' auto-correct).
I've grown to ignore one younger cousin's use of the ending -ie for every word that ends in -y. She at least acknowledged that she does it intentionally and doesn't care that it bugs people. At first though, I admit that I thought she must have failed spelling in grade school. I was so happy to find out that wasn't the case!
