Ha, not even close lol! I am trying to remain in denial that my tiny newborn baby is going to be a year in July
I have the date set. That was a pretty simple decision since his birthday lands on a Saturday. I also have a list of presents I want to get him, which was also pretty simple. I nanny for a 2 year old boy, so I just wrote down the toys Weston loves to play with of his.
I am a dork with the theme. I want it to be something that he is loves. Right now Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is about all I have since he LOVES the Hotdog Song lol. I'm thinking I may wait pretty last minute to see if anything new arises closer to the date.
I keep forgetting that Parker and Weston are only like 3 weeks apart! I love looking at your blog. You take such amazing pictures of him. They always look professional, I am quite envious
I know, it is completely amazing to me that almost a year has gone by. In some ways it feels like he has been here longer but then it also makes me sad because he won't really be a baby anymore(not that he even seems like one now I guess!)
That is so cute that he loves that show!! It is hard coming up with themes at this age because it isn't like they have a ton of interests right now that would work. We are thinking dogs, I have found some cute banners and things like that on etsy and then I think we will just have bright fun colors to go along with it. One of my friends does cakes so we should be all set with that if I can just figure out what she should make!
We are in the same boat with his birthday falling on a Saturday this year, it does make it so much easier...
Aww thank you so much about my photos. I have been taking a few classes so that has helped a ton, I am also addicted to photo message boards now. I am helping my sister shoot a wedding in June so I figured I need to really learn how to use my camera this past winter, here's hoping!!
That is a great idea about what gifts to get Weston. I am not sure because they are expensive but I was hoping we could get him a swingset of some sort because he loves to swing SO much and we basically go to the park everyday just to swing. But then I am not sure if that is weird because he will only be 1, but he can grow into it right?
