I am drooling
over this Kitchenaid mixer. I have been wanting one for YEARS! Huz keeps saying he wants to buy me one, and I always say that it's too expensive (and then curse myself for it later when I'm using my stupid hand mixer to crank out 100 cookies). But... this mixer made my jaw drop. I want her.
PS: Does anyone know if this is a good model? I don't know if it's a rinky-dink version of the better ones, and I'm just blinded by the pretty color. Oh, but how my heart swells when I see it! If I'm this happy just looking at the picture, I can not even imagine how many pieces my heart would explode into if she was sitting on my counter. ::sigh::

I actually saw this one in a Williams Sonoma store recently (I believe) and I instantly thought of you when I saw it. For some reason, I thought you already had one.
I have a silver one and I LOVE it.
That looks like a pretty good one (not rinky dink). The glass bowl is something they started doing on special editions/models a couple years ago - first was for an anniversary edition (or something like that) that was candy apple red. I would really like a glass bowl....
But they are upping the price for the special model....

I don't think kitchen aid does rinky dink. I have the bigger one, and it is weird for me to use the tilt head one, but if you aren't ingrained in one, you are fine!
I would also really like a glass bowl.
