Its raining and it just stinks!!! I am at work so at least i don't have to be out in it. Though i think i would rather be home curled up under a blanket either reading or watching a movie then being here at work!

Re: what a crappy day!
I hear you!
Although I guess days like today... I'm glad I don't have a window to look out.
I'm right there with you. I'll join in with my whine -
I hate my job...with a passion. I could get into the details, but I'm sure no one really cares. It's just a horrible place to work - the morale is super low, I have about 15 hrs of work to do a week, I haven't had a raise (of any kind) in 3+ years but others have for NO reason and then get fired 2 weeks later, etc etc etc. I've had a few prospects for a new job here and there and they all fall through, or 'we're not going to fill the position immediately, we'll be in touch.' It's been so disheartening. Not only do I need a new job for all of the above mentioned reasons, but if DH and I were ever to consider starting a family in the next year or two, we seriously can't afford it. On both of our salaries, there just NO way. We're attempting to save money and cut back when/where we can, but still. It's just tough.
Okay, rant over. And if someone would like to hire me, I'm all for it.
I'm sorry you're in this situation
I hope that something better will come along soon!!

what is your background in? I will keep my eyes/ears open for you.
This! I will keep an eye/ear out as well! Just let us know what sort of work you are looking for. Also how far are you wanting to travel for work?

Tygress and Remy - THANK YOU.
I'm currently in marketing and some HR. I'd love to stay in marketing, or even move to a sales role. Nothing, obviously, set in stone. I currently live in HoCo and willing to commute as far as NoVa, if the compensation and job is right for me.
How about north? How far would you be willing to go?

I used to work in Baltimore, so that's okay. Pikesville, Owings Mills...area, I'm pretty familiar with. I guess, like I said, it would have to depend on the job and compensation and everything. I would entertain any ideas at this point.
