Running Rec: Mobile Water system
lol... I wasn't sure what to call them all in one lump sum.
I'm starting to do running at longer distances (previously did mostly just 5K's and didn't really need water/food replenishment containers). I was wondering if my fav nesties in the whole widest world could recommend what you use for water bottles/snack holder for longer distances (10K+)?
Do you like camel back?
Water belt w/single water bottle? or water belt w/smaller bottles?
Or hand held water bottle w/hand strap?
Pros? Cons? Other feedback or options?
TIA!
Re: Running Rec: Mobile Water system
I don't love carrying water, but sometimes you have to and I've found the Fuel Belt to be the least annoying thing. Mine has four bottles, I think 4 oz. each. Plus a pocket thing to put keys, gels, etc. in.

I could never deal with a CamelBak because my back would get too hot, plus it seems like a pain in the neck to clean out. My brother uses one, but he's pretty used to it since they use that or something similar in the Marines.
It depends on teh distance. For a 5k, I use my Camel bak. I have 4 differnt ones for different purposes. For longer distances, if I would ever do those, I would move to a fuel belt. I mostly cycle now and use a camel bak.
