Last night we put the ledgestone up on the fireplace surround and omg it looks so good. I can't wait to finish up this room for good. It's really coming together. Here's a sneak peak!
Tonight is vegetable box pick up and I'm not sure what else.

Today is a short day for me. I'm leaving at 2:30 so that I can go to a first meeting with a therapist. I hope that I like her and that we can work together. It's exhausting trying to get something set up and I don't want to keep looking for someone who a) takes my insurance, b) is taking new patients and c) can see me before mid-summer.

Jordan is officially finished with kindergaden well at 10:00. He has awards day and a program at 10 then he is finished for the school year. We got his report card yesterday and of course he will be moving on to first grade. It is for sure a bitter sweet moment. I wish I could keep him and Preston little forever. Today I am leaving work and going to his program and then I think I may go have lunch with him. I will be coming back to work afterwards and him and DH will be going fishing. We have a tball game tonight at 7:30. I am glad he doesn't have school tomorrow because of that.
I am sad because last summer I got to stay home with him and I loved it. I hate I am working again this summer.

Tonight I'm hoping to get in a good workout. I feel like I'm finally starting to see some results from working out so I'm feeling motivated to do my workouts more frequently. I have no idea what we'll be cooking for dinner. I have been in a major cooking rut lately. Besides that, I'm just looking forward to a new episode of Glee tonight!

Working today. Hoping everything goes well. At some point today I'm also taking DH out to get his hair cut and also get him some new clothing for summer, which has me a little jealous because I really want some new clothing, he needs them though and I really enjoy helping him find new clothing.
Morning, all. Started the day by getting splashed by a passing car and being delayed by a train malfunction for 30 minutes. Good. Times.
I'm supposed to go to book club tonight, but everyone's flaking out on me--might be a gym day and then an early to bed kind of night. Hopefully the afternoon storms won't be as bad as last night; I got absolutely soaked. And it's been like this since last week? Ugh. Looking forward to some sun already (but it looks like we're SOL until Saturday around here)!

Good morning. Last night I went for a really long walk around our subdivision and got some great landscaping and patio ideas. We also got our federal tax return check yesterday so I'm going to start browsing online for some different material options. I'm so excited to start a new big project.

Today is my daughter's last day of high school. Talk about bittersweet! But she's an awesome young lady, and I'm very proud of her.
I slept from 8:30 to 5:30 (oversleeping 1.5 hours, oops) and I feel fabulous. Tonight we're shopping and packing for our camping/biking trip this weekend. It's going to be fun.

I have to present our new website layout/updates/design to the partners at 1:30 today. I'm hoping it goes well and they want to go live with it. I'm ready for this project to be over.
On the homefront - we signed a contract to have the interior of our house painted. I'm so excited that I will not have to do it room by room. The painter is coming over to do a color consultation next week.
Last night we went to my BFF's house and helped her bury her cat. I felt so bad for her. This has been her little love through thick and thin. Plus, she just spent a fortune to take care of a medical problem that had a 90% chance of working. No one really saw this coming. He was still a pretty young kitty. Sad night.
This morning I opted to stay home and take a vacation day to just lounge. I've been super tired lately, and my boss doesn't seem to care whether I'm there or not. With the students all gone and graduation this weekend, we don't have much going on. I kind of like the quiet at work, but after a while, you run out of stuff to entertain yourself with. We have a conference tomorrow and I have an early morning doc's appointment.

Not much going on here. Crazy busy at work with projects and then trying to keep up with my daily work.
Tonight I am starting to go through stuff for a multi-family yard sale that a neighbor is having over Memorial Day weekend. I have so much crap to get rid of, I just need to find time to go through it all.

Last night, we bought a new car. The 2 seat convertible had to go so we bought a Ford Edge and LOVE it. We had dinner with SIL, BIL and Nieces.
Tonight, I just have to get some stuff around the house and a little errands. There are a few more things I need for our trip.
We leave for Mexico in 4 days and I can't wait to get out of here for a little bit. Also, tomorrow is our big ultrasound so very anxious to get this day over!

Today I kicked ass at my interview. I truly hope I get it, mostly because there's also a swim coach position available there too. I'll find out Thursday, and if I don't get it I already have a job so whatever.
Tonight is my 2nd to last class ever. I'm pretty excited to get this all done with. I'm going to jump for joy when my initial educators license comes in the mail.
So all in all a great day today.

My next two weeks are SO busy it isn't even funny. And then I got an email from a friend this morning who is helping to plan our 10 year reunion...basically her email said "I'm really busy, so I can't do what I had said I would be in charge of for this project"...and apparently I was b*tchy this morning because I was so annoyed by the implication that the rest of us have nothing going on in our lives. I know that isn't how she meant it, but it still annoyed me because I ended up taking over her job and adding just one more thing to my growing to-do list. I get it, it is a busy time of year for everyone...but realize that it is a busy time of year for everyone, not just for you. Okay...vent done.
Other than that, nothing too big going on today except that my students kicked some serious a$$ on their computerized achievement testing today. The average growth for the year is usually 3-4 points...and most of our kids increased by 10-12 points. I'd love to take all the credit, but I think it also is partly attributed to the pizza lunch and recess that we offered kids who improved their scores from the fall. However, either way it shows that they definitely learned this year...and that they are capable of working hard to achieve their goals! I am really proud of how hard they worked. I'm going to let Ed take me out to dinner to celebrate...

Today was pretty sucky at work. I was super tired, ended up with a headached and got yelled at by a doctor (unnecessarily, I might say).
Just got finished dinner with DH and we are going to watch Glee tongiht.
