I think you sould definitely go to the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. DH and I got married at the museum so I may be a little partial, but I love it there. I would recommend going on two seperate days though. Do the museum on one of these rainy days and then the village on a nice, warm, sunny day.
I love it there so much that Amy is taking P's 9 mo pics at the village in July.
Re: Ritzy
How cool!! I didn't realize you got married there. That's a great suggestion about going on two days. You're definitely right. I haven't been to the museum since I was in Elementary school, but I do remember it being pretty big.
For that matter, I haven't really been to the actual village just to hang out in that long either. We've been for some special events, like the Christmas and Halloween nights, but not during the day.
Do you have a membership? If so, do you find it to be worth the price?
Yeah, I had no idea you could get married there until I started googling venues. I think it was pretty awesome. Again, I'm partial, but hopefully Shelly can vouch for me.
We do not have a membership. We have talked about it but in the end we only end up going a couple times per year.
I'll vouch!!
Plus, you can't hate on a place when they offer a nacho bar and a faygo float bar. Just sayin'
SHUT UP!!! Was this at your wedding Higgy?!
They don't just have something like this on a day to day basis, do they?! If so, I'm already in the car...
Yes she had it at her wedding! I DOCd and I insisted on "sampling" the product to ensure it was acceptable to give to the guests.... hehehe.
Uhh, I don't blame you. Just great, now I'm craving nachos and floats.
Too cool!! What an awesome wedding Alyssa!
Aww thanks! Sorry I ran out... had to go to work!
