why aren't community college's prices standard. it's a 128 p/credit hour in philly in delco it is $97.

in california it is $25 per credit hour

Re: can anyone explain to me why.. (comm. college)

  • also i am just bitter and no one has to actually explain why. xoxo
  • Not sure...I would venture to say they are private institutions, but I don't know.  I teach as an adjunct at a comm. college, so I probably should know.  I do know programs change based on community need.  Maybe that has something to do with it?

At dccc, the prices also vary depending upon what school district you live in. If the school district provides some sort of support or sponsorship of dccc, then you pay a reduced cost.  It's odd.
