    Well that was eye opening. Especially the mercury claim. I was under the assumption that both sugar or HGCS is bad for you either way, but now I see how HFCS has the potential to be much worse.

    Oh me too! I'm a farm girl through and through. It's a little scary either way.

    I use 'real' sugar, the organic kind, and I find I like it much better.

    But you're totally right, everything in moderation! Smile

    I'm sorry, at the risk of sounding like a bad Iowan, I think this stuff is bad, bad news.  It's not natural.  I love me some sweet corn, but let's leave it at that.

    At the risk of sounding stupid, can someone tell me how I avoid this?  Isn't in most of the (sweet) food we buy?  I need some guidance here people!!!  :)

    It said it's mainly in 'low grade' foods, so like really bad junk food :)

    Phew- so K is okay.  It is just my lard-butt that eats that stuff!!  I better start watching it.  Moderation is not in my vocab.
