As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I took the job!
Thanks for all the comments over the weekend. I decided (along with DH) that I should take the job I'd been offered. I am actually really excited about it. I think it will be interesting work and based on my time there interviewing, the people seem nice. I got them to re-write the offer to specify that we'd revisit the salary after the 3-month probationary period, and they did say that, without promising anything, we should be able to settle in the range I'm looking for.
I start tomorrow! It will be a little tough to get in to the routine of getting up early, I was staying up until DH gets home at midnight, hanging out with him for an hour or so and then sleeping later, but that will have to stop - I need my 8 hours of sleep!
