tuna and you want to make a sandwich. What do you add to it in order to make it yummy?
Re: You open a can of...
This is one of my favorite things from my childhood. Judge away
3 hard cooked eggs, chopped
6 oz. drained flaked tuna
3/8 c. sweet pickle relish
1/2 c. chopped green olives
1/4 c. mayonnaise
6 hot dog buns
Serendipity3, South Beach, Miami, FL 2012
Too funny, I JUST finished a tuna melt for lunch.

Normally when I'm at home, it's tuna, mayo, relish, and maybe a touch of mustard to make tuna salad. Sometimes I eat it like that, sometimes I add tomatoes, sometimes it goes on a sammich.
mayo, pickle relish (dill or sweet), salt and pepper for sure
maybe some horseradish, celery, or Lenny's hot pepper sauce, mmmm
Ditto this.
If I'm really wanting to add something additional, I will sprinkle some Mrs. Dash Table blend and I'm golden.
or if you want treat it like you're adding it to a salad: add oil, vinegar and a Mrs. Dash for seasoning.
mayo (i use miracle whip), relish, celery, salt & pepper. Sometimes a little mustard. Either eat it straight or on a sandwich with lettuce and tomato.
Before I add all that stuff I am required to put some aside for the cats. They'll kill me if I don't.
Most of the time i will add mayo and mustard. I hate the taste of tuna and mayo alone doesn't cut it for me but the combo of the mayo/mustard is yumyum. Also depending on how lazy i am i will crush up garlic and finely dice up some pickles (or use relish - whatever is available) and a sprinkle of black pepper, drizzle on some oil and you're good to go. Oh and I have to toast the bread first otherwise my whole sandwich will just suck LOL.
Great now I'm hungry

just a little bit of either lite miracle whip or lite mayo (i'm not partial to either). I also must have tunafish on toasted bread.
