FOREST PARK, Ga. -- A new law in metro Atlanta will limit breast feeding in public.
On Monday night, Forest Park passed a public indecency ordinance to prevent public nudity. Previously, the city only had a public indecency ordinance that covered adult entertainment businesses.According to the law, no woman can breast feed anyone older than 2 years old in public. City manager John Parker called the law a proactive step.?It sets up a process whereby we can try to control nudity throughout the entire city," Parker said.

So any nudity that may occur while BFing a child *under* the age of 2 is what? Not actually nudity? This "law" makes no sense.

Good point. I'm sure there are way more moms bf-ing their kids who are under two. This guy just has a problem with EBF.
The real question is why is anyone breastfeeding their kid? Its disgusting and clearly those moms are oversexed and their kids will have sexual issues their whole lives.
Oh, I thought it was because the mothers liked flashing their boobies. you know, kind of like a big come-on to everyone around them. No?

Considering that fewer than 40% of babies born in GA in 2007 were still being breastfed at 6 months of age, I can't imagine there being that many instances of toddlers nursing publicly. This is a stupid law/rule and they wasted time & taxpayer money passing it.
World Health Org recc'ds bf'ing until age 2. It should not be considered weird.

phew, ok. I thought your statement was awfully bold because I read it at first that people who BF 2 year olds are not normal or rational. I might side-eye a 3 year old BFing, but I side-eye socks with sandals too. There's not a very high standard for what earns my side-eye.
