per her blog:
:maternal stress and anxiety has explicit consequences on a developing fetus?s brain. I mean, we are talking all kinds of disorders from dyslexia, ADD, psychophrenia, to homosexuality ( though I?d be perfectly happy if my child was gay, as long as it?s not something that I did to him/her).
Re: first tri crazycakes post
Saw this yesterday reposted on one of the other boards.
Posts like this confirm my belief in selective sterilization!
Read the blog. It's full of win.
she's making bank on advertising so i refuse
Reason #785 why I refuse to go over to the Bump.
Also, I get weirded out by people who start tickers super early. I get that you are excited, but three weeks? Maybe you should make sure everything is ok first.
I want to say that a few years ago there was some sort of study by some type of legitimate journal that said something like "certain horomones released during stress may cross the placenta and may somehow have an impact on a potential genetic link to sexual preference in some cases".
I have no idea of validity of this study, but I don't think she pulled it out of thin air. Nor do I think it was a simple as "I worried a lot during my pregnancy and my kid got the gay".
I mean, she is totally nuts. But that isn't the first time I heard about it.
