I am on Big Beaver between Rochester and Livernois, aside from Pei Wei and PF Changs... are there any decent Chinese restaurants close to me??
Re: Troy peeps
I think I've talked to you once before about working in Troy - My office is just up the road - there's a good Chinese Place - Kim's at the SE corner of Livernois and Long Lake.
There's also a great Thai place at the NW corner of Long Lake and Livernois.
Cool, I am looking to find a place to order from for our office lunch this Friday
One guy here is obsessed with Takee Outee.... he seems to think it is worth driving to Square Lake and Telegraph.... yeah right.
I really like HoWah, I don't like Kims. Everyone in my group of Troy friends thinks I'm weird because I don't like Kims.
Also there is good Thai @ Orchid Cafe @ Rochester north of Big Beaver they also have a sister location (owned now by a different family) at Livernios and Square Lake.
I don't care for Kim's that much either. My boss takes us there almost every time we go out for lunch.
I have not found a Chinese Restaurant that I really enjoy in Troy or surrounding areas yet so I am no help to you Shelly.
I may just pick one and roll with it... but I have no clue how much to order.
I always make DH order chinese... for some reason I suck at understanding foreign accents =/
My experience from when I worked at a little family chinese restaurant: 1 pint is for 1 person and a quart can feed 2. Depending on how big of eaters you can probably stretch it a little too. Someplaces have a dinner for X people and it comes with several different dishes.
wait do you just always "act" like you understand me?
