Hi!! she is not out yet, and really no word. I am worried, but hopeful. She was in so much better shape after this weekend then she has been since my grandpa died (in Feb) so I think she was physically and as mentally ready as she could be.
OMG HOT mess. I flew Spirit, and if anyone was around last year the first time I flew them (it was a business trip) I ended up being pulled off the plane ..long story
So I took another chance and flew them again, I literally booked the ticket Wednesday for a Saturday flight, so it was slim pickings. got down there fine... my parent's took me to the airport last night about 5 for a 7 pm flight...they didn't even tell me when I was checking in that there was a 2 hr delay at that point, I had over heard it, and ASKED the lady and then she told me. SO we went and sat for a while, the 2 hr slowly moved LONGER AND LONGER. the plane had a cracked windshield and was stuck in Detroit-with people on it! They fixed it and sent it off, it went back for repairs, they sent it off again, went back in again for repairs and then never made it out of Detroit! They let us know about 11:45 that it was cancelled and they did not have an open flight until FRIDAY! So I ran like a ninja to ticketing and was 8th in line and called H to book me on Delta for the Morning, I actually got Spirit to pay me back for the Spirit return flight plus 50, so in the end I came out $10 ahead after booking my own Delta, but I am so going to complain!
sorry for the long story
it was nuts it took the line over an hour to move and I was 8th! they let old people and people with kids go first, I totally respect that,,, and a soldier which I would have let him cut no matter what. The entire thing was crazy. my parent's came back to get me around 1:45 and then took me back for my flight this morning at 5 am...... I am LOOOOOPY
