PSA: Expired Baby Food
I just wanted to alert you mommies that shop at the Danbury BRU that I found two instances of expired Gerber food on the shelf. I nornally only buy formula at BRU but saw they were having a sale and went down that aisle to see if they had any Gerber or Earth's Best food that my DD hasn't tried (both on sale).
Make a long story short I found one tub of Gerber that expired in February 2011 and the other 12/10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I brought the tubs up to the CS desk and after thanking me, they just said "I guess we will have to retrain people stocking the shelves"....um, maybe you need to go CHECK the shelves while you are at it! I also wrote to BRU but got a very tepid response.
Just wanted to warn you!

I've found random expired jars of babyfood in supermarkets too (shoprite). So, now I always check exp dates before I put the items in my cart.
