We had a really good time in Duluth.  I wish we could have done 2 nights at Cove Point instead of one night at the semi-dumpy downtown Radisson.  Oh well.  I can't complain TOO much since the Groupon was a good deal.  :-)

We ended up with a room that had a cute little fireplace!!  I LOVED the lounge fireplace.  We played games for awhile there.  Loved it.  We also hiked out to the tip of the point.  It was super pretty.  I agree the food wasn't 100% amazing but it was definitely above average.  I ordered the last filet mignon they had in the kitchen! Oops!  :-)

Anyway...I agree with everything you said about it - good and bad. Overall it's a nice place!  I think I would have been slightly ticked to have paid $27 for the filet mignon meal but the Groupon helped ease that pain, haha.  :-)

  • Yay! I'm glad you had a good time.

Yeah, I had the filet mignon too. It was good, but I was glad for the Groupon ticket for the meal. I probably wouldn't have spent $27 for it otherwise. $4, yes please.
