I don't think it could have gone better. In Texas, a two month delay is required for a child to qualify for services. They said Lily is delayed by 1-1/2 months in motor skills, but, they just started a new rule where they round, so, because her birthday is on the 30th and today is the 16th, they will round up to two months. She qualified by one day! Our original appointment was for last week and they had to reschedule - I'm so glad they did!
She was diagnosed with mild hypotonia, and the OT will come to the house for 45 minutes twice a month and give us "homework" to do with Lily. Her first session is at the end of the month, and, in the meantime, DH and I need to decide if we want to focus on crawling or walking. The OT said she is closer to walking and obviously prefers to work on walking (tummy time = she immediately sits up). However, crawling does provide the benefit of helping her learn to use both sides of her brain together, so we aren't 100% sure if we want to skip it.
Anyway, the summary of the appointment was that she is pretty much normal, but on the low end of normal enough to qualify for services. It means I feel a bit vindicated for worrying, but at the same time happy that there isn't really much "wrong" with her, and I'm very happy that we will be getting help because I've been feeling helpless in this area!
Re: Had DD's ECI Eval Today
that's awesome that your appointment went really well! I am glad you were able to get some answers- that mommy instinct is a powerful tool!

This!
Exactly what I was going to say! Yay!
Excellent! Hopefully you will get a good provider who is a tremendous resource. I'm sure she'll be caught up in no time because you referred so early. The earlier you go, the faster the progress.
FWIW, the OTs I work with really advocate for crawling...as it strengthens the upper body and helps the brain with that coordination piece. They were just talking recently about how many of their kiddos with fine motor difficulties didn't crawl. (I didn't know this until I was at my current job...certainly not my area)
Me too!
