Resolve is the National Infertility Awareness Association, they do a lot of lobbying for legal legislation that will help provide Infertility coverage for EVERYONE. Currently there are no federal infertility coverage mandate. Only 15 states have mandated infertility coverage. My state is one of them but there are loop holes that allow employers to choose not to offer the coverage. My employer does not offer infertility coverage.
There is currently a bill in front of the Senate to create a tax deduction for the out of pocket cost of infertility treatment. Resolve is asking for people to write to their two US senators, asking them to co-sponsor this bill. They have made it super easy to do. If you click this link https://secure2.convio.net/res/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=351 it will take you to a form that will send a form letter to your Senators. You don't even need to know who your Senators are b/c it will figure it out for you. It really takes less then 5 mins to do.
