wet wednesday
still raining...still chilly. i wore my bright yellow flats today to combat this dreary weather.
today i have a lot of work to do, then i need to run for at least 3 miles. then quick and healthy 8 point quesadilla for dinner and lights out hopefully early. im pooped, i tell you.
and i need something to blog about. any ideas?

dreary now. looked like some sci fi movie this morning w/ heavy clouds and haze but the big red sun behind it all. now sun has gone away completely.
ps: moving is the worst thing ever.
yes. yes it is. we just renewed our lease last night just bc we are too lazy to move, and we dont even love our apartment. we only half love it.

Sorry for all the dreary weather ladies. We ended up not getting anything and we desperately need some rain. Feel free to send some this way.
Last night, we had an impromptu date night. We went to see "Something Borrowed" (book was better, like always) but it was still good and then we split a meal after. I decided to try on the BM dress for the weekend to see how much farther I needed to go and by golly, IT FIT!!!!!!! I was stoked. STOKED! Still sticking to my diet and exercise and hoping to lose a couple more lbs before Sunday.
Tampa area is a great area!!! Most importantly you would already "know" someone there
I've heard you're supposed to move every 10 years to purge your stuff. DH and I have been in this townhouse for 11 years and boy do we have a ton of crap. Plus MIL has crap there too. There are books from MIL that she hasn't looked at in at least 10 years, but guess who gets to move them to the new house?!?! Grr...

I agree. And I still have half my crap at my mom's place. Thank goodness she's not really rushing me to move it!
I spent an hour last night rolling cookie dough and cutting it. I put it in the freezer to firm up, and will spend an hour or two tonight baking it. Then tomorrow and Saturday I will be frosting/decorating. I can't wait to see how they look finished - I'm so excited about them. I will def be showing them off here since I can't post on FB (don't want the bride to see them!).
It was dreary when I woke up. My commute felt so much longer than normal, and then I got off the subway and it started pouring! Why is it only Wednesday?
That is why I want to build up some canned blog posts to use at any time. For the dead times.
Sooooo tired. Tired tired tired. This weather does not help.
Last night I picked books up from the library, dropped stuff to Goodwill, got my eyebrows waxed, went grocery shopping, and voted. I love when people take their kids to vote.
At home I ate, watched DVR of Gossip Girl, Army Wives and Happy Endings. Then I cleaned the kitchen, emptied the dishwasher and packed lunch. I stayed up to finish a book and fell asleep around 12. I slept in this morning. So sleepy.
Today is one of my bff's kid's first birthdays. She had a hell of a day yesterday. She tried crawling up the steps at the babysitter's and fell. Her two front baby teeth had to be pulled so she won't get teeth there until her real teeth come in. The babysitter did not have the steps gated, obviously.
Tomorrow is my Friday, and the day my new couches arrive. So excuse me while I wish today away.

Very true! But just the idea of moving again after we just moved into this house makes me sick especially considering some things are still in boxes....

I went running last night for the first time in 4 years. I almost died. I have a shoe fitting appt at noon because mine suck. I signed up for a 4 mi on the 4th of July and have the dirty dash on the 30th.
I finally got some sleep last night thanks to Tylenol PM.
Today is the first day the sun is not burning me alive here in Texas. We actually have cloud cover!
Yesterday, I went and got a couple of things at Ulta I needed for BIL's wedding this weekend (hair clips, air brush legs & nail polish). Today is my last day of work for the week, the next two days will be filled with last minute things to get/do for their wedding. I need to still get a strapless black bra, a pair of contacts, nails & toes done, and H needs dress shoes. That all will most likely be done on Thursday then Friday hang out and have rehearsal that evening. And I need to get my "day of" bag ready.
GOOD for you! what is the dirty dash?? sounds fun! i was going to do a 5k trail run this weekend but i think it will be rained out. 5 miler on fathers day, and a 10K in july. then the half marathon is in october! EEK!
i am jealous you live near a place where you can get fitted. where do you live in Montana?

It's hump day
. I really have nothing to add today. It's still raining. I'm at work which I hate. I woke up late this morning. I jumped in the shower, brushed the teeth, did my two step makeup routine, changed and was out the door. I was only 1 minute late. I missed Glee last night but we have it on DVR so I'll watch it tonight. That's all I got.
Brew - Moving bites. I think that is why DH and I still haven't really unpacked since we moved 9 months ago. We have the essentials out and that is it.

Jessie - I am right there with you. DH and I are doing runs on the 3rd and 4th of July and we are crazy and starting training for a half. I used to do 4, 5, 6, and 7 mile runs on the regular, but that feels like forever ago...ugh. Good luck!
everyone - I am jealous of the shopping. I live in the middle of nowhere and really need to get out of here for a day. The closest target is 2 hours away!
Yesterday DH and I planted as much of our garden as possible. Today we are planning on working our flower beds around our house that have been neglected for at least 20 years. Don't know how much we are going to get done because we are really feeling the effects of the tilling, raking, hoeing and bending today.
Weather is still gorgeous here although we have slight chance for rain a little later on. Hopefully it will hold off until we are both at work.
