What was the TV show...
It was on in the late 90s maybe early 00. The main charter was a woman (with dark brown hair) who was a detective or a cop or a DA or maybe a coroner. Her mom had died when she was younger (possibly in a way that she continues to be haunted by/search for answers for) and she was raised by her dad, and ex cop who now owns a bar...possibly in Boston.
I cannot think of it for the life of me and it's driving me crazy.
