Mayoral Election

Since I'm not eligible to vote in it, I'm not going to comment on my political leanings... But I cannot believe how close the it is! At one point last night, 14 votes! Insane!

For those who were eligible to vote, did you?

For those who didn't, FOR SHAME! Every vote counts in this sucker!

Re: Mayoral Election

  • Goes to show that every vote counts. I wonder how many people are wishing they would have voted now. FWIW, I am jot eligible to vote for this election.
  • while it's exciting that it's so close, i feel like so many people at work were saying they had to pick between the lesser of two crap candidates, lol. and i can't say i don't agree with them after doing my small amount of research over the weekend.

i'd almost prefer a landslide where you know there's one great candidate.

  • They said it's the closest mayoral election in city history. I did end up voting even though I don't want either candidate running our city. DH voted for the guy I REALLY didn't want to win, so I voted to cancel his vote out.

This happens in theory with my husband often, but then he doesn't actually go vote so I always come out ahead :)

In this case, we both were in agreement, so I wish he had voted to give the candidate we chose one more.

  • I'm not eligible to vote either, but this does prove to those out there that say their vote doesn't count...it does!

  • I wasn't eligible to vote either since I'm in Clay County, but I hope this makes people open their eyes and realize that every vote does count!
