Cake Pop/Ball Question

How many days ahead of time do you think I could make them? Would I just keep them in the fridge? I'm going to miss a co-workers shower that's on a Wednesday and I was thinking of making them the Saturday before.

Last time I made them, I refrigerated them overnight and within a couple hours of taking them out, some of them cracked. Does anyone know why?

Re: Cake Pop/Ball Question

  • I've put them in the fridge and freezer with no issues. Did you let them fully cool before putting them in the fridge?

Yes they were fully cooled because I put those individual bags on each of them before putting them in.

  • I've kept mine refrigerated about that long.  Maybe just wait a very extended amount of time before putting them in the fridge?  I've had them crack before putting them in the fridge, but never while in the fridge.
