It's Hump Day!

Re: It's Hump Day!

  • Good! We've been doing a lot of yard work trying to trim down the bushes that are taking over our yard. I'm also super happy to see my tomato plants growing strong! Last year I got 1 measly tomato, so its looking promising:)

  • Pretty good :) We're going car shopping tonight. Hopefully will have a new car by the end of the weekend.

Becki, are your plants in the ground or pot? I had mine in a raised garden last year and they went crazy!! This year, I got rid of that garden and so I've got two in pots. These little guys aren't looking so hot at the moment. My only option is to plant them in clay/sandy soil. I'm not sure how well that'll work though.

Last year I had my tomato in a pot and it was a big fat fail. They got tons of sun and I tried to stay up on the watering. The leaves were kinda yellow and I got 1 dumb tomato.

This year they are in a raised garden with miracle grow soil on top, they seem to be flourishing. I bought them at the Farmer's Market. I'm hoping for a bunch of tomatoes, I have this stuffed tomato recipe I've been wanting to try.

Maybe try fertilizing your plants? It might give them a little encouragement!
